Air pressure along the tunnels
Prashidha Kharel · Nepal Flood ·
Pressure relative to atmosphere (0 kPa). Prashidha highlighted a pocket near main-access chainage 90–100 m. The dashed curves show the highest pressure at any recorded simulation time.
One simulation run, with water modelled separately from debris. Shanker’s discussion compared retention scenarios and possible tailrace drainage; these volumes do not establish actual water levels.
Shanker’s marked-up plan focuses on the connection near main-access chainage 90 m. Field identification remained unresolved. The figure’s original credit to Kharel, Dhakal, Basnet and Joshi is preserved.
